can the chi silk infusion be used as an daily moisturizer for hair? how do you use the chi straighten guard?

I just bought the Chi Silk Infusion but i was wondering if it is used on wet or dry hair or both. Does anybody know? Or can i use it on dry hair and then straighten my hair?
