it looks super cute but still on the expensive side and i wanted to make sure i wasnt being ripped off so i looked on the official website for authenticity details and didnt find the ultra chi mentioned anywhere on the website..could someone please tell me why and if theres any way i can tell its fake. i've been ripped off on about 3 flat irons so far and i dont want this to happen again. and please dont reccomend going to a proffesional salon because they probably have much more expensive prices.

When i try to flat iron my hair with the CHI its like it sucks all the moisture out of it and changes the texture to a texture that is worst than before..almost like it's doing the reverse of its actually purpose?
what am i doing wrong? i have seen others use the same/similar flatiron as me, ON ME, and when they do it it comes out silky.. why???
i got my CHI from JCPenny's and.. my friend has the identical one, and she flatiron mines with it and it worked..so i'm guessin its me ?
