so i got a chi flat blue limited edition and then it turn it on the red light doesn't come on and it doesn't start heating up till like 3 mintues after and somedays im in a rush so i need it to turn on and be hot... i got it off a website so i cant really ship it back because it will cost alot and my cousin wants to get a chi so i asked her if she wanted mine and she said if i was getting a new one, so should i sell it to her and get a new chi or a different flat iron i have no idea what to do, should i call the company to see if they will sned me a new one, !!!! HELP!!!!!

I take a shower at night,then let my hair airdry then in the morning i put the Chi Silk Infusion on then sraighten my hair.Will this give the best results?
