I have moved to South Korea, and I want to use my Chi iron. My converter says not to use with any appliances under 500 watts, but it doesn't say why. Will the iron just get extremely hot? If so, can I just turn it off and on to lower the heat?
I am not sure what the voltage is.
I am pretty sure I need the plug adapter so my blow dryer, straightener, and charger can can fit into the Japan outlet sockets. I am not sure if I need to buy the convertor though. The convertor is expensive! Please help!
