The helen of troy hair straightener is on sale for 30 dollars and its a $119.99 value i m just wondering if its any good or any better than a CHI hair straightener, they are both almost the same price regular price of course but the helen of troy one is on sale for 30 dollars.. anyone know ? should i get it? oh and its a 1" ceramic flat iron .. any advice on whether or not its good to buy?

i have thick, wavy hair and i im thinking of getting the CHI Ceramic Flat Iron Turbo 2 inch to striaghten my hair. Is that the way to go? Or should I get the same brand but a dif type like the CHI Pro or something? Or should i just get a dif brand altogether? also what are some products I can use for before and/or after I striaghten my hair for a better look? thanks

Accidentally left my straightening iron on this morning?!? Could this cause a fire?? Please help.?

Working with a new puppy put me in a bit of a rush this morning prior to leaving for work. I'm extrememly good at unplugging my stuff in the morning but for some reason I don't remember unplugging my CHI Straightening Iron that would have been left on my ceramic counter top. There is nothing next to it that I should worry about catching fire but now that I'm at work I'm worried about the 100+ temperature this thing operates at. I won't be home until mid-afternoon, does anyone know if this thing could cause a house fire????? Please help, I'm worried. Thanks.

I've had the CHI Turbo for about a little over a year now and just recently it didn't heat up enough to straighten my hair. Sometimes it does and sometimes it won't...So it's time for a new one.

I really love it but since i'm going to spend money on a new one I want to find the best there is. Even if it's not a chi. I am totally in love with the chi turbo except for the fact that yes, it does pull on hair. So from experience--what is an amazing flat iron..even better than the chi.

Anyone have a T3?

Can chi silk infusion help my hair?

Okay I have really frizzy and dry hair!
When I was a young girl I never had this problem until my grandmother dye my hair and the dye made my hair crazy frizzy and dry! I hate it! I tried everything to make it better and it hasn't but my friend told me to use chi silk infusion because she uses it and she had the same problem. But she also puts some baby oil not a lot.
I also have wavy hair.
Do you think chi silk infusion will work on me?

okay so i have narrowed down my search to four hair straighteners and i need advice on which one to get :
1) remington s2012
2) babyliss pro 230
3) ghd new pink limited edition
4) chi turbo flat iron

please consider the prices and if its worth the price and also the fact that i have crinkly medium thick long asian hair.

I need some ideas on the best hair products to buy. I don't mind spending a little bit of extra money for something that works. Here's what I need..My hair is very bridle. It breaks off really really easy. And its very poofy. I use a Chi Turbo flat iron to make it look good but it takes me like an hour to do this. I need a styling product that I can put in my hair when its wet/dry and i wont have to use the flat iron as much.

which hair straightener should i get?? help please!!?

I have long wavy thick hair and i am going to buy a straightener but i don't know which one to buy. i went on folica.com to look for good ones. i was planning to buy the original chi 1 inch flat iron.. but then i saw the chi turbo and i now i don't know what to get. what is the difference between the chi original and the chi turbo?
