how do you use your CHI FLATIRON without damaging hair?

I towel dry my hair, and wait for 3-4 hours till my hair is completely dry..then use my chi flatiron which gives me greattttt results just for the day. The next day, my hair seems very damaged and frizzy..and after i get out of the shower, its a disaster!!! my hair is frizzy, burnt, lots of split ends, and over all damaged!!! Can someone tell me exactly how to use it without damaging hair so much..any products that can be applied during towel drying, or before/after straightening? i'm going overseas day after tomorrow and want to be able to use it correctly
- i wash my hair every other day..and straighten maybe once a week..and want to know how to do it right.. thankyou

okay my friend gave me a chi flatiron its a blk one its says global beauty and chi on both sides PROBLEM its very dirty she didnt keep good care of it no problem ill clean it myself but with what someone told me alchole? newayz it turn on then turns back off and the light keeps flickering so what do i do can i get it fixsed somewhere or if anyone knows of someone that can fixs it or anything please email i relly wanna fixs it but where do i fixs it at i dont have the recipt for it or guarentee she lost it

I use the hair-art flatiron, which straightens my hair but keeps it puffy! It's so puffy that I have to braid it or put it up in a bun...I want it loose. I wanna know...girls tell me the truth please! What's better, the CHI straightener or the GHD straighteners (I recently heard about those...what are they like)?? Thanks SOOO much!

I have wavy, poofy, color-treated, dry hair. My hair strands are fine, but I have A LOT of hair. It takes me 35 minutes to dry my hair layer-by-layer because I have so much. I then have to straighten it. I am currently using Revlon hairdryer and conair flatiron (the cheap stuff). They are making my hair worse and causing so much damage!!

What are the best professional flatirons and dryers I can purchase, and from where? (e.g. I know they are expensive, so where can I get the best buy)

What's the differende between CHI and Seda? One better than the other? What's your experience?
