(questions at bottom) i just noticed that ALOT of people accidentally buy fake CHI's without knowing! Target even carries them! (yes call and ask CHI for yourself, Target is not an authorized seller of CHI ) So here's a way to know FOR SURE if you're getting the real deal.

also if you buy a CHI and it says "Ceramic Hairstyling Iron" it's fake. CHI stands for "Cationic Hydration Interlink" if it doesn't say that. then you should probably go and get your money back! if you don't want the hassle of mixing it up, try FHI. excellent hair products and you can order it from their website FHIheat.com so there's no mistake

actual question: if you have bought one, are they really that bad? my friend purchased one and she's debating whether or not to bring it back because it was pretty cheap. (i think she should) but for those of you who have had fake ones, did they work for you?
