I am thinking about buying this for school, but I'd like to know if it keeps hair straight all day long..? I have semi-thick hair with a TON of layers. I have school for 7 hours a day and I'd like it to keep my hair straight all day long. Does it? Or should I buy a different straightener? (Please dont talk about the price with me I can afford it and I'm not asking about the price.)

I have a chi and I don't rlly like it. I got it on sale and it was 101.00 with tax. It burns my hair, a lot. And after I straightened my hair it was just dried out and frizzy..and BURNED. I'm taking it back tomorrow. Been looking at other ones. Narrowed it down to a solia and a sedu. Which one is better? I've read rlly good reviews on both but I'm kinda torn. Thanks.

also if you buy a CHI and it says "Ceramic Hairstyling Iron" it's fake. CHI stands for "Cationic Hydration Interlink" if it doesn't say that. then you should probably go and get your money back! if you don't want the hassle of mixing it up, try FHI. excellent hair products and you can order it from their website FHIheat.com so there's no mistake

Okay, so I want to get the Chi Wet to Dry Flat Iron as my 1st pick. But then I heard these irons would give me good results to. I like to wet then iron my hair even though I know it kills my hair.

I just bought the chi air flat iron and I was wondering what would be a safe temp. Setting. I don't want to fry my hair, but when I set it around 300 my hair didn't really get straight.... highest temp is a little over 410.
