How do I use Chi Silk Infusion?

I have an Ultra Chi, and it came with four small bottles of Chi Silk Infusion. My hairstylist has used it on my wet hair, so I know it can be used on that. But can it be put on dry hair and still work? or achieve near same results?
When I said my harstylist used it on my wet hair, I didn't mean she used it on my hair and then directly used the Chi. She put the Silk Infusion on, blow-dryed my hair AND THEN used the Chi.

You can use it on dry hair but in very small amounts, it really is supposed to be used on wet hair (before you blow dry) it is made to protect the hair from all of the heat stress of blowing it dry and the using the Chi iron. It will perform very well even if used once before you dry your hair.
I put it on after I do my hair. It keeps the fly-aways down and my hair look much better. It give a silky, shiny look.
I used to use the bio-silk before blow drying my hair and it was damaging it tons. My hair stylist said that it has alcohol in it and its bad to put the heat on the alcohol.
I’m not sure if the Chi silk infusion has the alcohol in it too… but if it does… put it on after you straighten your hair. It won’t harm it.
the chi silk infusion shows the best results when put on wet hair then blow dried and styled like you said. The main purpose of that silk is to protect ur hair from the heat of styling. there is no reason to use the infusion on dry hair.that would just make it look over glossy and not clean
I think you can use it on dry hair to tame fly-aways, but use it sparingly b/c those products tend to make hair greasy fast.
use it on wet and dry hair i use the silk theraphy on my skin as well, never use your chi with out it on dry hair you can use it agian after just small amounts
You can use it, put a little in the palm of your hand and rub both palms together, then run your hands through your hair, I believe this is a sealer, it will protect your hair from breaking. It is always best to use the products the same way as the beautician, but if you are cramped for time, any thing is better than nothing.
i have that too. THe directions are on the back but….
1. get hair wet
2. put a small amount of infusion on your hand
3. rub it evenly through your hair
4. dry it then straighten
GOOD LUCK!
