The fake chi is called the CHI Nano, so that’s how you know its fake.

@tjholmes90 Actually, there ARE cheap knockoffs of the brand just like there are fake Louis Vuitton bags…
a chi is a chi. There are no fakes. Basically, if you get a “fake” from china or wherever really cheap it still came from the factory. There may not be a code on there and may never be able to verify that it is “authentic”. Will still have chi name and work just as well.
@pinkdungeondragon I doubt target would sell cheap knockoffs so yes I’m sure it’s real. To double check, grab the manual that came with the CHI and call the number there. Just by giving them the model number they should be able to tell you if it’s real or not
@cottoncandy305 I’m not quite sure, but I’m almost positive it should have the reset button and be three pronged. If your chi came with a manual, call the number on it and give them the CHI’s model number. They should be able to tell you if it’s authentic or not

ok your audio sucks!! ok and my chi has the velcro on it. and by the way your chi is a real one because the actualy letter C.H.I on the flat iron in the circle thing, its flat, on the fakes it popes up. your is real hun, dont worrie about it!
i think its real beacause your chi flat iron has sticker that is outside the fake one is the sticker is in outside
